In the highly integrated SPAD-SoC solution, the whole process is digitalized, from the photon entering the lidar and being converted into an electrical signal, to the subsequent data processing, and then to the presentation of the point cloud. The fully digital architecture is recognized as the next generation lidar architecture. The integrated sensing, computing and storage chip makes the data transmission between modules not limited by the bandwidth and delay between discrete chips, which improves the performance and stability of the system, reduces the cost and power consumption, and can provide more efficient and reliable solutions for applications such as LiDAR.
